Texas Barbado Sheep ...
The Barbado was originated in Texas from Blackbelly Barbados crossed with Rambouillet and Mouflon. They are used for grazing hard to mow areas, meat, and as trophy animals on game ranches due to the ram's large curled horns. It is typically tan, tan with a pale or black belly. They have short hair and/or course wool with a lot of kemp fiber. Males (rams) have horns and the females (ewes) are polled (no horns).
